With the "Zhenjiang" main crane slowly docking the 158-meter diameter turbine impeller to the nacelle at a height of about 110 meters, the Jieyang Shenquan Offshore Wind Power Project successfully completed the installation of the first turbine, and the "Zhenjiang" also successfully completed the lifting of the first turbine after its resumption.

On the evening of April 7, "Zhenjiang" from Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, sailed thousands of kilometers into the sea around Jieyang, Guangdong Province, to open the task of offshore construction. The participation is by the Huadian Heavy Industry construction of Guangdong Jieyang National Power Investment Shenquan offshore wind power project.
Shenquan offshore wind farm is located in the eastern part of Guangdong sea in the South China Sea, and the sea is very windy and rough, which has very high requirements on the vessel operation ability and personnel operation technique.

The 37th wind turbine was successfully lifted, with a blade length of 76.6 meters, an impeller diameter of 158 meters, a hub center height of 106 meters, an impeller weight of 201 tons, and a host weight of 242 tons, and the wind turbine blade and hub were pre-assembled on the hull deck and then installed using the whole lifting process.
In the face of the Shenquan sea swell, bad weather changes, the project team's "seam" scientific capture time and "accurate connection" organization construction become a winning formula. It is understood that after the completion of the project, it can provide 1003.33GWh of clean electricity to the grid every year, and reduce CO2 emissions by about 780,000 tons every year.
With the large-scale development of offshore wind power, the influence of factors such as waterway occupation and environmental protection is increasing, and the deep sea with more wind energy reserves will become the main battlefield of offshore installation and operation and maintenance platform, so the "Zhenjiang" of Banxing show comes to deeper sea, which can give full play to its multiple advantages such as deep working sea, strong construction efficiency and long operation window.
According to statistics, there are about 40 domestic construction vessels, including 22 self-propelled self-lifting type, and the offshore platform that can work in 50 meters water depth is more scarce, including the "Zhenjiang" not more than 3. In addition, "Zhenjiang" can accommodate three sets of 6MW-class wind turbines or two sets of 8MW-class wind turbines, independently complete the installation of 6MW, 8MW-class wind turbines and other water engineering construction of lifting, piling, lifting and transport operations.
With the offshore wind power "installation" into the white heat, "Zhenjiang" re-blowing the horn into the field, will largely alleviate the shortage of high-end construction equipment, for the 14th Five-Year Plan period of China's offshore wind power to help the vigorous development of a force.
